The Jaguar Remote App keeps you in touch with your Jaguar when you’re not in your vehicle, delivering greater control than ever before over security and comfort settings.
The App’s enhanced features, improved functionality and intuitive interface affords peace of mind, more efficient journey planning and greater well-being for you and your passengers.
Use the App to remotely:
- Prepare for a trip by checking fuel range and dashboard alerts
- Locate your vehicle on a map and get walking directions to it
- Check if doors or windows are open
- View journey information
- In the event of a breakdown, request Optimised Jaguar Assistance
- Plan future journeys and sync with your vehicle*
- Connect your favourite music and lifestyle applications to your InControl account for use in vehicle.*
For vehicles with InControl Remote Premium, the following additional features are available:
- Check on your vehicle security status and lock/unlock your vehicle if required
- Cool or heat your vehicle to the desired temperature prior to your journey*
- Locate your vehicle in a crowded car park with ‘beep and flash’ functionality.
*Availability and function depending on vehicle capability, software and market.
Download the Jaguar InControl Remote App and then login using your Jaguar InControl username and password to connect to your vehicle. This App requires subscription to one of the following packages fitted to the vehicle:
- InControl Protect
- InControl Remote
- InControl Remote Premium.

Ratings and Reviews
Old phone user
Generally the app worked well considering I’m on iPhone 7 iso 15.
The latest software seems to force an update to the latest version before it opens and sadly now I’m not able to download an older version which apple used to allow.
That means the app is no longer available to me which is very frustrating !!
I suspect this has stopped thousands of customers using this app on older phones which really should be allowed, I’m not going to update my phone just for this app to work!
Unreliable app but great car
When I first got the ipace it worked for two weeks then the app had major issues. Three month on despite resets to the car the app no longer allows guardian mode and consistently sits in loading mode when trying to refresh the home page. For a £75k car this app really lets the whole product down.
I have a Simpson and partners charging unit which can be set separately to the energy company and this app which has saved the day many times when this app fails to connect to the car.
All round the features look good but getting it to connect to the car is frustrating and I’m not looking forward to taking it on a very long trip as charging remotely is not an option with this app. I have resigned myself to the fact that I’ll have to sit in the car to ensure it charges!
Jaguar head office - please spend the money to sort this out as the drive is better than most current EVs of this spec but this app hinders enjoyment of the vehicle drastically. Inevitably my next car will have to be another brand if this remains unfixed as it impacts my overall enjoyment of the car.
Octopus energy
Never had an issue with the jag app always works as should but I did receive and email from octopus energy saying they can no longer keep me on the intelligent charge tariff as jaguar have updated the app and they can no longer control the charge schedule as for the people who are having issues you really need to upgrade your phone
